In a past interview, I met Ron Redd at the Water Purification Facility. This is an updated post along with pictures I took in the past.
The Water Purification Facility (WPF) is something to behold. It is the first ceramic membrane filtration plant in the country, which means it is model of efficiency and quality. WPF creates 10 million gallon per day from sustainable water supply, which helps in the shift to use surface and renewable water. Next phase is 20 million with a capacity for 40 million in the future. This facility also has a mini lab for water quality. It is now operating 24 hours a day in the peak summer season.
